Ever since it opened in 1990 on the site of a former steelworks, Meadowhall has been THE place to shop in region. There's everything from little black dresses to blue suede shoes, from gizmos to gadgets and a whole lot more besides.

With over 270 stores, more than 30 restaurants and fast-food outlets and an 11-screen cinema complex, a visit to Meadowhall is a great day out for everyone. The Centre is home to major department stores and all your favourite high street names, as well as individual designer boutiques, specialist shops and lots of fun for the children, with a crèche, outdoor playground, amusements and a raft of mall entertainment.
