Great Yorkshire Show, HarrogateYorkshire is a large and diverse county and an all year round location for events and activities to suit everybody. One event not to be missed is the Great Yorkshire Show held each year at the Yorkshire show ground near Harrogate. For the keen angler there are the Angling festivals held twice per year in spring and autumn on the East coast at Whitby. Snooker fans will be able to plan a trip to the Sheffield Crucible Theatre for the Snooker World Championship held each year during spring.
