Welcome to North Yorkshire in the North East of England!

North Yorkshire is one of Britain’s greenest regions and contains two National Parks, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, both of which are areas of outstanding natural beauty.

The main attraction in North Yorkshire aside from the stunning natural scenery is surely the city of York itself.  York is a town steeped in history and no visit too North Yorkshire could be complete without a tour around this beautiful and ancient city.

If the history of York and the rolling countryside are not quite what you’re looking for, the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby may just be.  North Yorkshire may not be the first place the average holidaymaker thinks of when planning a seaside retreat but towns such as Whitby and Scarborough are well equipped for a summer vacation.  Some of the finest traditional English cuisine (fish and chips of course!) can be found in the coastal towns in North Yorkshire and a stroll along the beach can prove invigorating at any time of the year.
