Stobthorn Cottage is located near to Northallerton in North Yorkshire and is ideal for visiting both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, with numerous visitor attractions and activities also close by.
Set in a lovely agricultural landscape between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, this well presented cottage on a working small holding, has been converted from a former barn.
Attention to detail includes oak doors, under floor heating on the ground floor and original sneck doors. The market town of Northallerton is close by for everyday shopping, restaurants and tea rooms. Thirsk (12 miles) has a cobbled square and interesting alleyways, and Osmotherley is only a 15 minute drive away. The Heritage Coastline and the Hambleton Hills offer lovely walks, cycle paths and picnic areas to enjoy this truly scenic area. The Coast-to-Coast long distance footpath, passes near the cottage. Enjoy watching the rare breed Gloucester Old Spots pigs and Ryeland sheep in the owners fields.
