Able to accommodate 6 persons, Castle Cottage is set in the wing of and old farmhouse and is full of original character, in the tranquil village of Paterton. Bolsover is just a short stroll along a countryside footpath, and Sheffield and allit has to offer is just a short hop away.
A 3/4 mile country footpath walk leads to Bolsover, a village boasting one of England's most beautiful castles as well as a variety of shops, pubs and cafes (1½ miles by road). Hardwick Hall (N.T.) is under 4 miles, Chesterfield is 5 miles and Chatsworth House, Matlock Bath, Crich Tramway Museum, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Go Ape, Go Karting and Centreparcs (day tickets available) are all within 15 miles. Bakewell with its famous puddings and Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping, Arena and Don Valley Stadium are 18 miles.
